RIP Titi Branch

Suicide is a horrible thing, and depression is a silent killer. Sometimes we don’t know what’s in the minds of these people and what they are really going through, some are very good at hiding it, and others not so much. I believe that’s what happened with Titi Branch from Miss Jessie’s. The curl world is going through it with the loss of this amazing woman.
Social media tend to kill off people from time to time, so what started out as a rumor, ended up being true. This is the most hurtful thing ever. On December 14, I found out finally that it’s very true. Reports say that she died from “asphyxia” which is very similar to how Robin Williams died. As I did more research, I found out that she really did commit suicide. I wouldn’t know why she would so something that like, I don’t know what was going through her mind, no one knows, the family is left wondering and so are the curl fans.
But all I would say is that for those that are battling depression, and thinking of committing suicide; you are not alone, and suicide not only affects you but also those that love you, and care for you, you are not alone!
God Bless

Ocho Rios, Jamaica 2013

Blessed beyond belief, my mother as an early birthday gift got us both trips to go to Jamaica again, Ocho Rios is where she has wanted to go for years and we finally went there. We stayed at the RIU hotel in Ocho Rios, (I feel like I’m repeating myself over and over again, hahaha, anyway) which was such a cool resort, all-inclusive, and bars everywhere! Thanks again mom!

The beautiful love birds!

Mom on the Queen seat of our little boat, she seriously was not expecting this experience at all

SHARKSSSSS

Mom and me selfie!

I am in love with this dress, got it at missguidedus.com, amazing sales and beautiful pieces!

By the way we got caught in a storm, which was so funny, and seeing this man made our day. He said this is how Jamaicans ski.

My first visit to Miss Jessie's Salon

Since I’m such a huge fan of Miss Jessie products I decided why not just go and get my hair done there, since I decided to go all natural, taking care of my hair has been a very expensive journey, but so far I found some products that I think finally work and are what I consider stapled items for my type of hair, I remember writing about the products at an earlier post, so now this is the real thing. Six months ago I did yet another big chop, and now I decided to get my hair trimmed, and I am not going to lie I was scared, but I am in love with the results and I will be going back! Give it a try you guys! Book an appointment, you wont be disappointed. (And ask for Romy, she did my hair, cut and styled, she was the most beautiful person ever.)
Enjoy!

My Fashion Week Spring 2014 Recap

Fashion week is my favorite holiday, its something that should be celebrated, and I even called out of work for fashion week, its full of amazing, and creative people, and people from all over the world come to NYC just for these couple of days. I was so happy to have a hold of my friend’s camera. So, I went camera crazy, saw a few of my favorite bloggers and some famous people and I was running up and down Lincoln center, hahaha, but can you blame me?!
Enjoy!

Oh and did I mention that we got invited to see the Milly Spring 2014 show?
It was the best experience in the world and the pictures I took were AMAZING!
